Fab redesigns its iPad and iPhone apps - News - Know Your Cell

E-commerce site Fab.com announced Thursday that it has, once again, redesigned its mobile apps for Apple's iPad and iPhone. Since launching in June 2011 the site has seen major success, especially where its mobile users are concerned. And in just a few days Fab is expected to reach a brag-worthy eight million users.?

Thanks to its serious mobile appeal and its ever-changing (and aesthetically pleasing) apps, it won't be long before that number is topped. The New York-based startup's latest update is, as always, heavily focused on design. But this time around it's even easier to find new products, and an improved social feature makes it simple to share your favorites. Oh, and iPhone 5 owners will be pleased to know that Fab is totally optimized for Apple's slick new handset.?

Currently, roughly one-third of all Fab sales come straight from mobile, along with 33 percent of its daily visitors, who log in from their smartphones and tablets. Fab expects that number to grow, and fast; predicting that half of its revenue will come from mobile over the holiday season, and maybe even more than that by early next year.?
